Here's more cool news - Sam's Club is listing our book as a "Featured Item" on its website.... Thank You, Sam's Club!
I wrote an article for the June/July Sustainability issue of Sam's Club Source Magazine, distributed to their business members. You can find it online....Pages 26-27.

I had a great time talking with Gainesville residents about Green Living at Goerings Bookstore on July 20. Local CH 20 news did an interview and the event was advanced in the Gainesville Sun. Thank You, Gainesville!

The beautiful bouquet of herbs was provided by my very good friend James Steele, the Herb Man of The Herb Garden in Melrose. Thank you, James!

Ms. Alicia Antone, posing here with my beautiful daughter Rachel and me, invited me to tour the Smathers Library West, where she works. The library has recently been renovated and is now a LEED certified Gold building - the first college library in the state to receive that designation and the second LEED certified building on the University of Florida campus. I look forward to learning more about UF's Sustainability Initiatives as I continue to research: How Green is Gainesville?

Let's all GoGreen together!

How cool is this? I'm the Green Goddess of Gainesville! Here's a note from our friends at VisitGainesville.com:

"On a personal/consumer side, we brown thumbs in all-things-eco-friendly - can read/study and learn from a cool book, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Green Living -- written by Trish Riley www.trishriley.com – a nationally recognized author and investigative reporter, who actually, we’re proud to say, is a fellow Gainesville resident – therefore we unabashedly and of course without her permission, but we hope with her blessing…claim her as our as our very own Green Goddess of Gainesville (and beyond…..)." I'll admit to enjoying a few lunches with the blog author, Marcheta Keefer, tourism marketing manager for Visit Gainesville... Thanks, Keeta!

Thank you, Natural Health Lifestyle, for a great review!

"Here's a great book to start learning with! Whether you're just getting interested in sustainability and green living, or you're already using solar panels, there's plenty here for everyone. Author Trish Riley ... starts at the beginning with an overview of why it's important to "go green" and moves on to how to actually begin doing it. The book is extremely comprehensive in scope... There are powerful practices we can all embrace right now, many you may not have thought of before. Easy to read and well organized--highly recommended."
